When you register, you’ll need to provide some initial info (age, contact info, location, etc.). Then we’ll email you about playtest opportunities as they come up, including a survey about your gaming habits. If you're eligible, we'll invite you to a playtest with further details!

Playtest activities vary! Most take place in-person at our labs, but we sometimes run remote tests or send out surveys. For on-site playtests, you'll try new or unreleased games or services at our labs and share your feedback. These sessions can last from a couple of hours to up to multiple days. We have four in-person research facilities in Burbank (CA), Knutsford (UK), London (UK), and Montreal (QC) and smaller satellite locations in Bellevue, WA and San Fransisco, CA

No. All participants are required to sign a non-disclosure agreement which prohibits you from sharing your experience with anyone. WB Games takes confidentiality very seriously.

We use your information to help determine playtest eligibility for our variety of testing needs. We won’t share your information with third parties or internally for other purposes without your explicit consent. Playtesting is rewarded with giftcard of your choice in local currency. We provide details when we email you about playtest opportunities.

We test with a large variety of games and across many ages but only individuals 18 and older can sign up. If you're under 18, a parent or guardian must sign up for you. When we have playtest opportunities for those under 18, we'll contact parents/guardians on minors’ behalf. During in-person playtests, minors must be accompanied by an adult, and both of you must sign a non-disclosure agreement. Adults must remain in the building throughout the minor's playtest session. More details will be provided when we send out playtest opportunities.
